Frosting Your Grill Cupcakes

On a sheet of plastic wrap place rows of red, orange, and yellow frosting as shown.

Roll the plastic wrap carefully leaving one end open and twisting the other end.
Place the piping bag into a large glass and fold the sides of the bag over the rim of the glass.
Drop the frosting roll into a piping bag with tip, open-end dow. Bring the pastry bag edges up and twist them together to start decorating.
Add a 1 mm star tip to your bag.
If you don’t have a piping bag, try a plastic bag with the tip snipped off. Frost the cooled and filled cupcakes.

Add m&m burgers and tic tac hot dogs onto the grill.

FAQ:
Easy Grill Cupcakes
Use a dressed-up boxed cake mix.
How do you store Grill Cupcakes?
Here is the thing – with the more futzy designs, I like to make them in advance of an event or get-together. The best way to usually store your finished creations? Room Temperature.
Do grill cupcakes need to be refrigerated?
Nope! You can store them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. I would not recommend freezing them as the grill will get mushy.
Can you make grill cupcakes without buttercream frosting?
You could use cream cheese frosting that you dye into multiple colors, but I think the buttercream really makes these cupcakes. It’s light and airy and complements the richness of the chocolate cake well.
