Baby Yoda Fondant Work
For the robe, roll out light brown fondant and cut into strips using a fondant roller and set it aside.
Roll out the dark brown fondant and stamp out small circles for the eyes, set them aside.
Melt the white chocolate chips with green food coloring and a small dot of brown oil color to match frosting, place it in the piping bag.
Set our baby Yoda ear template under a sheet of waxed paper.
Pipe over template on wax paper to create ears, set aside, or in the refrigerator to set.
Frosting Your Baby Yoda Cupcakes
Place the piping bag into a large glass and fold the sides of the bag over the rim of the glass. Scoop the vanilla frosting into the piping bag. Bring the pastry bag edges up and twist them together to start decorating.
Add a 1 mm star tip to your bag.
If you don’t have a piping bag, try a plastic bag with the tip snipped off. Frost the cooled and filled cupcakes.
Pipe green frosting on the cupcake.
Place light brown fondant robe strip around the base of the cupcake as shown
Attach dark fondant eyes, then add accent sugar pearl with a small dab of frosting
Carefully remove the ears from wax paper and attach them to either side of the head
Baby Yoda is done!

How do you store Baby Yoda Cupcakes?
Here is the thing – with the more futzy designs, I like to make them in advance of an event or get-together. The best way to usually store your finished creations? Room Temperature.
If you are using frosting with eggs, cream cheese, or anything that *could* spoil, I would recommend the fridge. If not, then a cool dry spot away from any sunlight is best!
Can I use canned frosting for baby Yoda cupcakes?
Yes! You can use whatever recipe you like for your baby Yoda cupcakes.
